Operation and coordination control scheme of an enhanced AC–DC hybrid microgrid under abnormal distribution network

Considering that the AC–DC hybrid microgrid (HMG) is connected to low-voltage distribution network (DN) where voltage faults occur most commonly, fault ride-through (FRT) capability and power quality performance of HMG under abnormal DN conditions have become a critical issue. In this paper, decentralized coordination control scheme based on an improved topology proposed for grid-interactive guarantee uninterrupted high power-quality operation during grid faults. The method it includes: (1) new presented by adding series transformer (ST), which inserted between HMG; (2) strategy considers interaction converters enhanced HMG. Based method, modes system are introduced, specific design process small-signal model analysis presented. Finally, simulated experimental results show can keep both AC DC bus stable improve conditions.
